A much more simple leash that seems to look much like a lasso - a simple rope with a loop for the head to slip through.

Pros: This one-size-fits-all leash is very sturdy. It might be used for training or at competitions, where it can be slipped off quickly. It is also very inexpensive to buy, starting around $5. You can also easily make one yourself with a plain old rope.

Cons: Because of the nature of the leash, the loop which attaches the leash to the dog can loosen easily. This will require extra attention.
